Abstract
The design is to develop a special press for testing concrete specimen, which can automatically control the loading speed. It conforms to the Methods of testing cements-Determination of strength GB/T 17671-1999(ISO 679:1989). The machine power has a mechanism with a sensor, which can compensate the clearance between the concrete specimen and the machine, with the stepping motor giving the power. A computer controls the whole process and it is recorded and printed as well. At the same time the computer will display the necessary data and curve. I’m mainly in charge of the design of the machine and its mechanical system and its working process. The main purpose of this plan is to make up a system that can produce larger power but shorter working travel.
And the experiments show that it is feasible. And its mechanical system will make the power stronger while the hydraulic pressure will put out the power.
