And my brain was already cooking trying to figure out if future Mayuri remembers meeting the grown up Kagari in the past.

0karin not remembering the song should mean that either he didn't go back to his original world line after meeting Kurisu, or that it's because of Reading Steiner activating when he was on the roof with Amadeus at the end of ep03. I suspect the latter since all the Kagari fuss didn't happen till after Reading Steiner when Suzuha mentioned she's looking for Kagari at ep04.

I suspect the people that attacked the lab wiped Kagari's memories when she split up with Suzuha, they gained memories from her about the future and a person that made(or rather will make) a time machine (0kabe). I suspect the first time she ran away was an accident on their part and wasn't intentional. However, I think they wiped her memories again at present time so they can find 0kabe. This could tie in with the war scene at the start of ep04.
冈部不记得那首歌了，这应该是暗示着冈部在和助手见面后，并没有返回原来的世界线（而是进入了新世界线），或者是因为在第三集的结尾，冈部和Amadeus一起在天台上时，他的RS发动了。我觉得很可能是因为后者（RS发动），因为在第4集，铃羽说她在找篝的时候，篝还没有这集里的那些困惑。

Even a slight bit of divergence would leave him lacking in memories that a person without Reading Steiner would have. When the divergence happened probably isn't relevant, as it would be nearly impossible to get back to the exact world line he started from once he left it. You could say that even his knowledge of what happened while he was in the Alpha attractor field would constitute divergence, making it impossible for him to return to a world line where he didn't know about time travel.

My take is that they are already in a different world line than the one Kagari came from, but they are still in alpha attractor field non the less.
Think about it, the origin of Kagari and is the world line she grew up in, where she met Mayuri and learnt the song.
Kagari time travels (with Suzuha) and pass the song to Okabe in a different world line.
Although it may seems like a loop from alpha attractor field's perspective... this by all mean is not a loop, the origin of the song came from another 'world-so-to-speak' and you won't be able to find its origin in the world line as seen in episode 12.

I haven't been enjoying steins;gate 0, so a few days ago I finished re-watching the original to see if I still enjoyed it, and I do! A lot! Does anyone else think steins;gate 0 is boring?
我不是很享受观看石头门0的过程，为了确定我是不是已经对石头门系列丧失兴趣了，我前几天又重新看了一遍第一季，结果我发现我依然喜欢石头门，而且是非常喜欢！有人和我一样，觉得石头门0有些无趣的吗？

I'd recommend, if you don't mind committing the time, watching episodes 1-23b of the original anime instead of the regular viewing order. 0 is more about how a defeated, beaten-down Okabe deals with his issues and eventually becomes strong enough to save Kurisu again and risk everything else for it, no matter how many times he has to try again.
我还是会推荐别人看，如果你有多的时间的话，可以去看看23集的β版，这也是石头门0真正的开头，不要以普通的视角来观看它。石头门0更多的是在讲述一个被压垮的冈部是如何战胜困难，最终成长为一个足够坚强，能够再次拯救助手，并准备为此豁出一切的人，哪怕他要尝试无数次（他也不会放弃）。

Did you binge-watch the original? If so therein lies your problem with 0. You start to lose interest in a show and it's characters when you watch it on a weekly basis more than you would if you were to binge it.
I would suggest you wait for the show to finish so you can enjoy it to its utmost potential. I can't wait that long so i'm gonna watch it weekly.

ya but the original had an amazing atmosphere, even if it was just for one episode. Did the director change or something? Steins;gate 0 feels like it's trying way too hard to pull on my heart strings and ends up feeling cheesy (or maybe cringey(or maybe corny(i don't know the difference between the three))).

yeah, it's a different director this time. I do agree with you that the original felt like it wasn't trying to make you cry, but I don't feel like 0 is doing a bad job at making you cry. Episode 8 was the first time I cried watching Steins;Gate and to me at least it didn't feel forced.
